My loom is still set up for my spring scarf draft. This means I could easily make more, as all I would have to do is tie on a new warp. I know that despite pink being pantone’s color of the year, it doesn’t work for everybody. If I get enough interest in another color (mainly, a series in blues) I would be willing to make more before I start working on fall production. If there is enough interest, I may even take pre-orders. I just need to know if there is enough interest before I start.
So to make it even more fun – all those who respond will be entered into a drawing. Whoever wins will receive a 2o% discount good for spring through fall 2011. You could purchase a pink scarf, a blue one, or wait to see what’s coming in the fall. (Offer will expire Dec 31, 2011). I’m pulling a name on Monday, so make sure you leave a valid email address so I can contact the winner.
So leave me a comment – “Blue Please!” “I’m holding out for fall scarves!” etc, etc.
Thank you and good luck!

As much as I love pink, I can’t wear it. For me, it’s blue all the way.

wow, i feel like i have to root for the pink! it isn’t everybody’s color but you have a very sophisticated eye for that thing. which leads me to believe you’ll do something really cool with pink. pink is great anyway!

Blue! Your work is beautiful, and I wonder the possibilities if you decided to delve into an extraordinary exploration with indigo dye and the ikat resist process maybe? I’m sure whatever you decide… it will be beautiful!

I would love to learn more about dyeing and hope to include that in my work somewhere down the road.

I’m on the pink band wagon too. I wear blue jeans all the time and don’t wear a lot of blue when I’m in jeans – need to break it up.

I think those pinks are so warm and flattering on any skin type but would adore blue+green Pirrti goodness, LOVE your handiwork Anne-marie!

[...] I wrote awhile back that I was going to make the summer scarf in blue. All I had to do was tie the new blue warp to the old pink warp and keep weaving without having to re-thread the loom. Many house guests and a couple of trips out of town later, it is time to catch up. So the pink warp waited… [...]
