Wool does not need to be cleaned often, as it is naturally water-resistant and dirt-repellent. We do recommend cleaning before storing as standard practice for moth prevention. Hand wash or use the hand wash cycle (low or no agitation) in your machine with cool water and a gentle soap such as Kookaburra. Remove excess moisture by spinning in your washing machine or blotting between two towels. Lay flat to dry. Store carefully when not in use.

The disposal of a garment is inherent to its sustainability.

Wool is 100% backyard compostable and may be repaired using a variety of visible or invisible mending techniques. You may also unravel the sweater, saving the yarn for future repurposing.
